Cesar Roman Palacios was born on August 27th, 1970- something, in San Diego California. With his third grade school teacher Mrs. Drake and the School Choir, the six-year-old Roman began his life long love of music and song. His father would constantley ask Roman to sing for family and friends, especially during the Christmas season. These living room, and school performances were only the beginning of his early singing experiences. Roman would not perform again until 1996 when he discovered The Red Fox Room at the Old Lafayette Hotel in San Diego. It was here that he tested, and honed his talent alongside the incredible Songstress whose grace and style would inspire him to pursue a career in music. The Incredible (hardly the word to describe) artist Shirley Allen who was accompanied by the very talented David Shaw(on Clarinet, trumpet, and sax), and Son Mark McMullen (drums), who performed the rhythm section. Roman spent the next several years learning from, performing with and perfecting his craft with this group and other musicians in a variety of nightclubs, bars, restaurants and Hotels throughout the San Diego area. In 1999, Roman landed on the Vegas Strip where he began to develop and perfect his Rat-Packish style. Then, it was onto New York, Florida and a small tour in Cancun for this crooner.
